TinyJoy Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 13, 2026
TinyJoy is designed to help children and families celebrate everyday progress without turning their information into a product. TinyJoy has no advertising and no third-party analytics. We do not sell personal information.
Information on your devices
The name, tasks, focus history, streaks, rewards, settings, and pet choices entered in TinyJoy are stored so the app can work. When iCloud is available, this information may sync privately through the family's Apple iCloud account so it can follow the user across their Apple devices. TinyJoy's developer does not receive this information.
TinyJoy does not require a TinyJoy account, public profile, or social account.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. TinyJoy checks the purchase entitlement needed to unlock TinyJoy Plus. We do not receive or store payment-card information. Apple's handling of purchase information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Pet Selfies
If you use Pet Selfie, TinyJoy uses the camera or a photo you choose only to make the image on your device. TinyJoy does not upload or store the photo. A photo leaves the device only when you choose a sharing option provided by iOS.
Camera and photo-library access are optional and are requested only when you choose the related feature. You can change those permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Children and families
TinyJoy does not contain ads, social features, public profiles, or child-facing purchase prompts. Purchase controls and sensitive settings are kept inside the PIN-protected Grown-up Zone.
We intentionally limit data collection and do not knowingly collect personal information from children on our own servers.
Data sharing and tracking
TinyJoy does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs and does not track users across other companies' apps or websites. Information may be handled by Apple when you use iCloud, the App Store, or iOS sharing features, subject to your Apple Account and device settings.
Retention and your choices
App information remains on the device and, when available, in the family's iCloud key-value storage until it is removed. A grown-up can clear tasks or erase all TinyJoy progress from the Grown-up Zone. iCloud data can also be controlled through the family's Apple Account and device settings.
Security
TinyJoy relies on the security protections built into iOS, iPadOS, the App Store, and iCloud. No method of storage is guaranteed to be completely secure, but we minimize risk by keeping TinyJoy data on the user's devices and private iCloud account rather than operating a separate user-data server.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as TinyJoy changes. The effective date at the top of this page will show the latest revision.
